Process Overview

BC (Back Contact) solar cells represent a new generation of high-efficiency photovoltaic technology. Their core feature is the relocation of both positive and negative electrodes to the rear side of the cell, completely eliminating the shading effect caused by front-side grid lines in conventional cells. By increasing the effective light-receiving area, this design significantly enhances the short-circuit current density (Jsc). At the same time, the grid-free front surface provides a cleaner and more aesthetically appealing appearance, making BC solar cells an ideal solution for high-end applications such as Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV).
